Hey, guys! Netflix has just officially renewed its gang crime drama series Top Boy for Season 2, slated for late 2020 release. Filming was expected to begin this spring, but most likely will be postponed due to public gathering restrictions related to coronavirus crisis. Production shut downs are happening on both sides of the Atlantic for dozens of shows. Top Boy was originally a British TV series, which aired its two seasons on Channel 4 in the UK, before getting cancelled in 2013. It was revived by Netflix in 2019, following interest from rapper Drake, who now serves as the executive producer. Netflix released a new season in September 2019 as “Season 1”, while the British original was renamed into Top Boy: Summerhouse. Ashley Walters as Dushane, Kane Robinson as Sully, Michael Ward as Jamie and Little Simz as Shelley are all confirmed to be back for Season 2. Who is your favorite character on Top Boy?
