Description: Welcome to this episode of RPGGamer Top 5s, and this time we're going to do the top 5 RPG Soundtracks.
Now this is a little different to the usual top 5's, because I usually talk over each 1 of the top 5, but this time I'm going to shut my mouth and let you listen. Music is maybe the most evocative of the senses, and can convey emotion and excitement far more quickly and elegantly than visuals or sound effects, so they're a vital part of an RPG when it's trying to let us know to be scared, sad or ready for action. Some of the most wonderful scenes in RPG's that I've personally played have been accompanied by equally wonderful soundtracks, from Aerith's Death at the hands of Sephiroth, to the despair and love of Anezka for Christof in Vampire the Masquerade Redemption.
