The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall MS-DOS is one of the most dramatic top video game intros, this opening cinematic really puts you in the place as a hero of Tamriel, although I could do without the Brooklyn pizza parlor worker book narrator. The person playing Emperor Uriel Septim VII, however, does a great job lending just the right gravitas and kingly emotion to his scene.
