It took me long to record this gameplay video, as there were several technical issues in the game, including problems with the server---making T3 completely unplayable since launch until few hours ago, which the problem were partially solved. Nevertheless, here's my first look gameplay of Torchlight 3.

ABOUT TORCHLIGHT 3

Previously known as "Torchlight Frontiers", the anticipated Torchlight title is now "Torchlight III". In the past few months the title has undergone some serious changes, including the new name and the change on the business model. Of course, it's not all that.

Torchlight III will present a new story, lore objects, bosses, towns, and cinematic. One of the most interesting changes are on the character levels, monster variety, monster spawning, and environment variety, and most importantly a new character class - the Sharpshooter - a powerful and nimble ranged character.

These changes was made possible through the Alpha test last year which the move was initiated based on the responses from the players. The shift of Torchlight III to premium business model (meaning when you purchase the game and you'll have all the contents of the game from day one), does not only bring the game back to its Torchlight roots, but also answers to the players' concerns on the F2P business model.

All of this iteration and improvement is due to the fans involved in the alpha, and of course to Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games who listened to the fans' concerns and suggestions.
