Songs of Silence has been on my wishlist since it was first revealed in Steam Next Fest, I've played the demo before, but somehow missed its full release. Thankfully, games don't really old that fast, and I was finally able to play Songs of Silence today. It's a great game with a very good story, likable characters, and striking visuals.

What this game trades for its tactical complexity is its stylish fantasy aesthetic as well as its laid-back gameplay that allows you to chill out while having an eagle's eye view of the epic battles that take place, only ever intervening with spells that you could use to sway the flow of battle.

Lead your army to victory as you defeat roaming armies and claim castles for your own, and restore peace in the realm in Songs of Silence.
