Total War: Shogun 2 - Multiplayer 5: A False Sense of Security (Live)
A live recording with post-game commentary of a multiplayer match. Once again I take the Kisho Ninja core with the intent of rear-sneaking and charging from behind when the enemy's lines are engaged with my own. That plan is quickly thrown to the winds once my enemy's real tactic is revealed, and instead I salivate at this sitting duck marinating in his own juicy fat.
I did post-commentary this time around because I was playing late at night, and the commentary starts to desync as the video stuttered a bit during playback and recording. This player probably encountered far too many all-cavalry enemies or preferred to camp it out and use arrows from his highly-vetted bow infantry, but given the ninja core gimmick is still that, a gimmick, he never considered the carnage grenades could do to his tightly-packed men.
Siege weapons such as Fire Rockets or judicious use of matchlock units could probably also have gouged enough of the enemy lines to weaken them. Given the archery dojo is next to the woods, matchlocks could conceivably have been used, but against fully-vetted bowmen, it's hard to tell. Better to go whole-hog with fire bomb-throwing, katana-yielding, sneaky elite infantry!
