Llamadeus, Weegee, and myself decide to play some matchmade 3v3 and show how dividing and conquering can destroy an enemy. Also, more Kisho Ninjas, and a new setup for a large fund battle with the Kisho Ninja core!

I neutered Black's army very quickly with my ninjas, removing the threat of the ranged component and tying up his Yari Samurais. This kept his level 9 Katana Samurais from doing a lot of damage on the charge, and because of this, my Great Guards were able to move around and cause wavering unhampered by enemy cavalry or spears. The advantage of this large naginata-filled army is the ability to grind out the enemy's units and tie down the line, and often a ninja is able to sneak around and tag the enemy's general if he's standing and fighting. The Great Guards and Matchlock Warrior Monks are purely there for support.

Weegee's army was key in tying up Grey from slamming my sides. His mixed army outfought Grey, who had sent his Katana Cavalry into my reserve Naginata Samurai when he was gunning for my matchlocks. As for Llamadeus... his sole Hold Firm Yari Samurai was able to completely hold the line against a tired White army, while his bows and matchlocks tore apart the White army in skirmishing. Whistling Arrows finished the morale job.

White's defensive camping was probably the reason we won. If he had brought his army to defend Grey early, sending only his Kisho Ninjas to conquer the Farmhouse, we'd have probably had a much closer battle than this.

For those curious, many goons from the Goons Total War clan joined an offshoot called Goons Total War Spears, as Hold Firm is goddamn good now and sword proficiency doesn't give much in the way of versatility. I can only imagine how powerful a Kisho Ninja core with Hold Firm could be!
