The game needs a little balancing honestly, mostly around the ease at which some factions can snipe out generals. Personally, I'd rather see it made equally easy for all factions rather than making it harder for the ones that can't. Other than that, game's pretty fun.

For those of you working on playing this as your first ever total war, this is some of the most basic stuff in the book. Use mixes of melee units to hold up or grind down an enemy, use missiles to soften enemies up or harass, use cavalry to hunt missiles and to get rear charges.
