Boss - The Great Wheel That Guards And is Guarded - Ichirin Kumoi & Unzan

Comments - Stage 3 isn't too bad of a stage. its 2nd half is harder than its 1st half. if you managed to get through Stage 2 without dying, you shouldn't have trouble doing the same with this one. the midboss can cause problems though, with the OMFG HUGE BROFISTS coming down.

This also marks the first game with a male character, Unzan, at least if you count a cloudman that only appears in spellcards.

Ichirin is the best stage 3 boss in touhou, hands down, simply because of Unzan and his fists of fury, even if its a little dodgy gameplay wise, its still damn awesome. Ichirin will make you work. she likes to spam lasers which can be a pain, but her spellcards are where the diffficulty lies, because of the aforementioned big-ass brofists taking up a big chunk of the screen when they are fired. her first spell is easy though, staying at the bottom of the screen dodging a light bullet shower. her 2nd spell can be hard if you don't know what you are doing, but when you do, its pretty easy. (i died here, didn't know what was going on since this was my first run of it) but as for her final spell, with Unzans eye lasers, its a matter of knowing the path of the lasers, and keeping an eye out for the fists at the bottom of the screen that pop out. another spell that you need to know whats gonna happen before it happens.
