Always a lot fun doing this spell card, so it was pretty enjoyable playing it a bit recently as a "break" from some of the other games I have done and plan on doing. I've definitely improved a lot since I started almost 2 years ago, from taking quite a while to capture individual patterns in Doremy's boss fight, to perfecting it, from not being able to capture PDH once to capturing it quite often. This was the first bullet hell shmup I played, and it's definitely my favorite, alongside ISC I'd say. The Point Device Mode is great, and feels akin to an IWBTG fangame which is what ZUN was going for. The game is certainly quite difficult, with a lot of bosses being arguably the hardest in the series (Seiran as the hardest Stage 1 Boss, Ringo as the hardest Stage 2 Boss, Doremy or Kagerou as the hardest Stage 3 Boss, Junko being the most skill based Stage 6 boss, Hecatia being the hardest Extra boss). PDH is most likely the hardest final spell card up to Touhou 16, and it's certainly comparable with Okina's finals in Touhou 16 and some ISC no item spell cards. That being said, I do think this game gets a lot easier as your skill increases, which is why when going for something like an LNN, it might not even be the hardest. From what I've seen, EoSD, UFO and perhaps even some other LNNs can take just as long or longer depending on the person. That's not saying this can't be the hardest, but I don't think it's necessarily always the hardest game.
