Touhou 16: HSiFS - Lunatic No Bomb/Release [ReimuFall]
8A lunatic clear of Hidden Star in Four Seasons without using bombs or releases done as Reimu Fall.
Hidden Star in Four Seasons used to be one of my favorites. It isn't now.
I don't know what I was thinking back then but I don't enjoy the game like I used to. Casually this game is more fun, that's for sure. Apparently this LNBNR is around the same difficulty as an LNB of MoF, but I found this way harder to do. Overall the run had 10 deaths, which is the exact amount the game gives you without releases. Not my proudest run, but it's done.

Stage 1 to 3 went perfectly so there's not much to say. Those are some boring early game stages though. The 1st spell of Nemuno is pretty scary, quite a tough spell for a 2nd stage boss. I like Aunn's nons though, except for the very first one.
Stage 4 is probably my least favorite stage 4 in Touhou. The stage portion is just boring, with the 2nd half being annoying and the boss fight has annoying attacks as well. Even the safespots are annoying. I died on the last possible moment on the stage portion, and then died to Pet Bullet Lifeform and her final. The death to her 2nd was extra scary, because it didn't die in time and almost made me die a 2nd time. Thankfully I embraced the Gorrila.
Stage 5 is not as boring as 4. It's pretty route-heavy so you can't really sleep that much on it. The boss is fun for the most part as well, with the exception of Behind Festival, for obvious reasons. Her final was giving me some creepy waves but I managed to survive.
Stage 6 was a disaster. I lost like 3 or 4 runs to Okina. This run capped only one of her spells, and it was the easiest one, of course. For some reason I'm super bad on Okina on runs while on practice I could consistently do it 3 miss. This run had twice of that. The final non also gave me the worst RNG so that was fun.
Okina was the reason I picked the Fall subshot. Fall Final can be very easily made static by timing it out in the corners. Of course I managed to die on it this run.
