Stage-wise you’re gonna have to watch out here. Back in Stage 2 you were introduced to moments of high bullet density sporadically whereas here it’ll happen much more often. It’s also gonna pay at this point in the game to remember where enemies spawn in, especially with how bulky some of them are.

Kutaka ain’t too bad as a mid-boss, functioning as more of a warm-up to what she’ll pull off later as a boss. She fires two different paced waves of attacks and your goal is just to time it so they’re not overlapping when you try and dodge them. Getting her hidden beast spirit is actually easier than fighting her normally, it just takes a little preparation. All you have to do is be in Otter Roaring Mode when you beat her.

As a boss all her non-spells are tougher versions of what she pulled off as a mid-boss. Spell card wise however she’s got one hell of a variety here. For the most part they’re honestly not too bad though with the latter two just requiring you to know the mechanics of what she’s firing at you and making sure you’re not in the wrong place.
