Just a quick and dirty 1cc of this game. I started with the wolf card to get that extra firepower and the tanuki card to never go below 3 power. This game is very stingy with power items, moreso than any other game in the series, so going below 3 power makes it a struggle to go back up. Sometimes you need an entire stage to go up by one power. Death chaining in this game is very easy (aka death after death) due to this. Enemies have stupid ammounts of HP so you need to at least always be 3 power. Along the game I took the Eirin potion and the Shikieiki coins to help with mistakes. The rest went to lives.

Stage 1 and 2 went perfect.

Stage 3 not so much. I messed up Sannyou really, really bad. Granted she is really hard but I at least expected to capture her first and third non. That didn't happen. Probably the boss that gave me the most trouble on this run.

Stage 4 went alright. If you are wondering why I stopped shooting during the first criss cross green fairy, that's because if you hold off on killing her you avoid the overlap with the following fairies. The midboss only took me one resource instead of two, that was nice, considering that's probabyl the hardest pattern in the game. The mentos are loosely aimed and the purple rings are static, but even knowing this, this is ridiculous.
Misumaru on the other hand went as well as it could. That is, capturing everything but the first spell, which I doubt I'll ever do in a serious run. Really satisfied with this one.

Stage 5 went ok, I'm sad I missed my route for the Tsukasa mid. Scary dodges that I should have bombed on the ying yang spam but hey, it worked out. And the purple wall fairies messed me up.
Megumu went pretty poor, but at least I captured all her nons. First spell should have been a capture if I wasn't nervous, since that's her easiest spell. Walled by a laser on the second spell, so that was fun. I cannot figure out the third spell. And the fourth one I could have captured it but I decided to be safe there at the end.

Stage 6 I messed up my route on the pre midboss fairies, but I captured Tsukasa's non, which was nice. The last two fairies walled, thanks.
Chimata went as expected. All her nons are 100% static but I didn't bother learning them so I just brute forced them. Third and fourth nons are really hard without memo. Her spells range from very easy to mildly challening. First spell is a route, an inverted triangle makes it trivial. All the glowy shit made me die on the second spell, that was disappointing. Third spell is easier than Mike's last spell. Fourth spell looks unfinished since you only need to do three dodges. Last two spells are pretty nasty. The one to last is static and I have a route (I bothered to learn this one!) but I messed it up, yay. Last spell I had a very silly death at the beginning and another at the end. The third phase is the hardest one and I managed to capture it, so that was nice. If you bother to memo the nons this may be the easiest final boss in the series. Probably easier than Yuyuko.

Well, at least the 1cc is done. I like this game.
