I didn't talk about the "wonder stone appeared!" message in the 5th screenshot. I'd assume it's a collectable stone on screen like the UFO or beast tokens but just doesn't move around like them just simply drops down like any other item. In addition it has a level. So maybe the meter or the value on the right levels it up?
