Touhou Categorical Imperative Valid? Demo Showcase (Two Lunatic 1cc's)
2New demo! I'm on the staff as English translator and playtester. The translation system isn't hooked up to the game yet though, so you aren't going to see any of my work in the demo yet. Feel free to ask me about anything about the text and I can answer.
This game has two primary gimmicks. The first is that the third playable character is your self-insert OC. You can clothe her and give her a name and adjust her colors, and more. What you choose for what her favorite bullet types are (top option of the last tab in the character maker) even affects the bullets used in the stage 3 boss fight.
The other gimmick is that enemies are also subject to damage from bullets onscreen. Use of this gameplay feature is required in some cases where bosses have too much health to shoot down normally. You also lose PIV (or "Merit Points") by killing fairies, so it's in your interest to find routes in the stages to avoid dealing the killing blow to enemies.
There is an item shop where you can spend money gained during the run. These will unlock other types of weaponry, upgrade levels for your weapons, new clothes, etc. There's a lot I didn't showcase, so please try out the game!
