You should easily get to max power early on in this stage and the enemies aren't really much of a problem. Your main goal is just to collect as many [点] as you safely can for extra lives. However this game introduces a new mechanic in the the stage 2 mid-boss will influence the second half of the stage making it much more difficult.

Sakuya is fairly simple even with her time stopping. In fact her cool down phase before her Spell Card feels more difficult than it.

Remilia's attacks are all about keeping your position locked down with tightly packed bullets. Understand the dimensions of your hit box and make slow, careful movements and you'll be fine.
