Touhou Emblem Chapter 9 - Invasion on a Ghostly, Noisy Mansion (old version)

Okay, so the Scarlet Devil mansion isn't the only mansion near the Misty Lake in Gensyoko...
And it just happened to be on the path to Hakugyokurou. So what, there are treasures in it? It's unsurprising for Marisa to say something about robbing it.
Not that easy though, considering it's also home to the Prismrivers and their guards...
This is easily the hardest chapter so far, and it's going to get worse. Actually, this is the last chapter you'll see unpromoted bosses (I guess my guess back then in Chapter 5 is not true).
You'll need to split your group to two because of the area of this mansion. Make sure to deploy Sunny on the east side because two of the bosses have steal-able secondary weapons. Also, be careful because there are enemies with very strong silver weapons (as well as Spear and Tomahawk).
The three bosses are different classes. To the bottom-left guarding the chest containing Power Ring is Lunasa, a Guard with Tomahawk and Spear. You'll need a tanky unit (Remilia can actually survive one hit from a Tomahawk), and then an effective weapon or magic to deal significant damage. This is why I moved Medicine's Reginleif to Remilia's Inventory. She drops a Master Seal when defeated, and it can be used to promote one character (except Reimu/Marisa or pre-promotes) early!
On the southeast is Merlin, an Acolyte with Divine tome, and a stealable Light tome. Is actually the least dangerous given you can just tank light magic with Alice or Marisa. She drops a Speedwing when defeated.
And on the northeast with the other cavaliers that move unprovoked is Lyrica, a bow Cavalier, and she equips a Steel Bow, and carries a Short Bow that can be stolen and a droppable Blue Gem.
Remember, make sure to have Sunny move next to the later two and make sure to steal the weapons, not the droppable items.
It's helpful to bring additional characters with lockpick, especially if you're gunning to unlock all chests and loot them in time.
By the way, the chapter only ends exactly after 15 turns, even if you defeat all enemies. It's actually essentially a survive chapter.
There is a Brigand that drops Knight Crest - it's NOT a promotion item! Unlike the main GBA games, Knight Crest and other stuff act more as of items that affect growth and have secondary effects. And yes, they can be stolen by enemies so beware of enemies that can steal.
Now since the first Master Seal is obtained in this chapter, keep in mind the promotion for each character are FIXED. You do NOT have a choice for any promotion branches. I'll show what classes certain characters will promote to (based on some hunches as well as external help and whatever I can find out in next chapter's preparations):
Chen: Promotes from Fencer to Swordmaster. Gets Crit+15.
Suika: Promotes from Brigand to Berserker. Gets Crit+15.
Daiyousei: Promotes from Archer to Sniper. Does NOT get Crit+15.
Cirno: Promotes from Mercenary to Hero. Gains ability to use Axes.
Medicine: Promotes from Spear Fighter to Spear Master. Does NOT get Crit+15.
Sunny: Promotes from Outlaw to Assassin. She retains Steal+, and gains ability to use swords.
Luna: Promotes from (axe) Cavalier to Cataphract (essentially Great Knight. Gains ability to use Lances) And yes I forgot she can use swords...
Star: Promotes from Fencer to Spellsword (yes, she promotes into this because her magic stat is higher than her strength stat)
Kogasa: Promotes from Pegasus Knight to Griffon Knight (probably, if so gains ability to use Bows)
Meiling: Promotes from Fighter to Warrior. Gains ability to use Bows.
Patchouli: Promotes from Dark Mage to Sorcerer. Gains ability to use Anima and Staves
Remilia: Promotes from Spear Fighter to Spearmaster. Doesn't get Crit+15.
Koakuma: Promotes from Healer to ????????? (more information will be described later)
Alice: Promotes from Scholar to Summoner. Gains the ability to use Dark Magic AND Light Magic.
Murasa: Promotes from Pirate to War Cleric. Gains the ability to use Light Magic and Staves.
Also, regarding the Primsriver sisters.
Lunasa promotes from Guard to Fortress Knight (gains ability to use Swords)
Merlin promotes from Acolyte to Bishop (gains ability to use Staves)
Lyrica promotes from (bow) Cavalier to Tracker (gains ability to use Lances).
