Touhou Emblem Chapter 14 - Final Stronghold Line of Eientei
1Last one for this Imperishable arc. You know the deal, "unify Gensyoko" means the two MCs have to capture Eientei. And deal with the two lunarians, Eirin Yagokoro and Kaguya Houraisan.
Anyways, there is some sort of time limit in this map if you're trying to optimize stuff. While the bosses at first stay in the closed room, they'll still attacks (or the sleep staff) if you're just dumb enough to be in their range.
After a few turn, reinforcements will appear and Eirin will relocate to bottom-left near starting location. If you really want to optmize the run, you can actually steal Eirin's Sleep staff if you manage to have someone with Steal+ (either Sunny or Tewi, since staves don't have a weight therefore they can be stolen by anyone with Steal+), and you need a promoted Wriggle or Luna to rescue after that (starting from just two spaces away), and then run for it as far as possible.
Eirin has a Longbow, but it's not difficult to tank one attack with longbow provided the one baiting is either Suika, Lunasa or Alice. (Mokou also works as long as she doesn't get killed by a crit, too) Once Eirin is defeated, the locked right room opens and Kaguya will move. Kaguya has Instant which means she can snipe you from 3 range, but she won't be able to counterattack attacks from either 1 or 2 range. Don't forget to steal the Physic staff.
Don't forget to deploy Mokou in this chapter (provided she isn't burned out in the last two chapters), move her to the top-left room area where the Sorcerer with Physic staff is. (Also steal that Physic staff anyway)
Regarding Lunatic Bow, it's PRF locked to Reisen. It has pathletic 0 MT at first and while it does have 2-3 range, it inflicts Berserk on hit and berserked enemies tend to prioritize other enemies first rather than your own units, however this might make you lose EXP.
Promoted Alice might be the most overpowered unit so far, not only she gets the entire magic triangle but also capable of summoning dolls as meatshield. Oh by the way these summons are green units unlike the vanila GBAFE so you can't control them.
Oh, and how fittingly I defeated Kaguya using Mokou. If you read the lore then you'll get the reference. On a lesser note, Eirin was defeated by Sunny in this playthrough.
Eirin and Kaguya are joining as replacement units if 12 or more allied units are down.
Next up they'll be going to the Youkai Mountain, so I guess it'll be MOF (Mountain of Faith) time.
