The spam is always good at forcing you to make ridiculous dodges... And unafortunaly you HAVE to do these sort of dodges, if you want to capture it.
And also, I believe the way I handle the spam here is the optimal way to do so, for ReimuB at least...I tried everything, I grinded this section for hours. I tried going to the sides, staying at the center, staying in the corners, a mix of all of these... in the end I found the most consistent way is to do the movements I do in the video.

You want to speedkill the first 3 waves of fairies. Once you are about done with the 3rd wave, move to the oppositive side to kill what would be the 4th wave and stay there. I do it starting from the right (3rd wave) and then go to the left for the 4th wave and the following ones and STAY at that part of the screen. To the left, but NOT completely in the corner, nor in the very center. I find the ideal place is around the "/" that separates the numbers from the Cherry points meter. The most important thing here for ReimuB is shooting Unfocused. This might seem obvious, but I cant tell you just HOW much of a difference this makes. I really does help! Its of course easier said than done... you can tap to briefly focus, but try to be unfocused during most of this. Dont start to go towards the corner until the last 3-4 seconds before Youmu comes or you will most likely get trapped. In those last 3-4 seconds you can focus freely since most enemies should have died, or are already leaving the screen anyway by that point... Its probably easier to understand if you just look at the video :P

This section is still the hardest thing in the entire game for ReimuB and it shows. You basically need to master both micro and macro dodging, as well as your movement both focused and unfocused (Especially unfocused), have really good knowledge of the arrowheads hitboxes, fast reflexes/reading are pretty much obligatory too since this thing is random as hell and theres no real pattern at all to this, other than where the fairies spawn, which obviously you will have to memorize... and even if you DO have all of this, theres still a chance that may just kill you anyway because it can potentially be just stupid walls that will kill you no matter what... I think I capture this about 50% of the time now, even after grinding for god knows how many hours...
