Touhou Lost Word: Shinmyoumaru Showcase (Read Description)
23I've really enjoyed making all my Touhou Lost Word showcases! Unfortunately, this is going to be my last one.
I'm quitting Lost Word
It was when I woke up at 04:00 in the morning to pull for Seija (and failing), I realized I had a problem ("•___•)
I spent way too much time on this game, and not for much in return. Clearing all the stages and event reruns simply to farm seal crystals started to bore me. It got to the point where I could just toss in two really strong characters, turn on full auto and play on my computer until the stage was complete.
Even the "challenge content" wasn't very fun, including the scarlet devil tower and the new EX stages. The scarlet devil tower is too easy because I have so many strong characters and ten whole days to complete the new floors, and the EX stages are basically just "if you don't have these characters, you lose! If you do, you win!". The Scarlet Devil Tower felt like such a chore, I just threw in my strongest support characters to buff my Shaman Reimu to the sky and one-turn clear a floor every day. And the arena? I just spam last words.
I also realized I spent a LOT more money on this game than I thought I did. I'm not a gacha whale, but after looking at my google pay history, I was stunned. I thought I only spent maybe 30 dollars at maximum on this game. Turns out I spent more money than the average Nintendo Switch game costs. More than 60 dollars in less than a SINGLE YEAR. All spent on collecting digital PNGs of videogame characters!! I can't believe I realized today how dumb I was being :T
I successfully gave away my Lost Word account to someone who wanted it more than me, they were extremely happy to have my account. I know I could've sold it for over a hundred dollars, but I don't feel so good about doing that kind of thing (and I honestly don't know how), so it was either that, or I just trash the account completely ^_^;
