W3 Parsee, the Princess of Jade (like the name of her theme) the shrine maiden of the world of steel and steam, the enviable youkai of jealousy, what does she have to offer now that she has finally released?

Well right off the bat, it looks like this Technical-Class Ultra Festival unit seems rather solid all things considered! With a mix of damage, support and anomalies, W3 Parsee shows promise as she can grant the team buffs via Yin ATK, CRIT ATK, CRIT Accuracy, and on Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK, Accuracy as well. While it seems a little limited in terms of the buffs she provides, she can be fairly helpful in them I'd say, even the CRIT Accuracy for Destroy-Class units, one coming to mind was W1 Suika. Sadly W3 Parsee doesn't benefit from them a whole lot herself, but meh.

Damage has some promising parts to say the least. Her Killers are rather solid including Youkai, Oni, Kappa, Yaoyorozu no Kami, Divine Spirit, Former Capital, Soul, Ghost, Vengeful Spirit, Poltergeist, Tsukumogami and Tengu. It looks to be able to hit a good amount of enemies, especially on her Last Word. As for Slice Scaling, it seems fine for what it is, with 75% on Line 1, 100% on Line 2 and 120% on Lines 5 and 6. I think in the grand scheme of things, the damage calculations I'm not sure is the most impressive, but I guess it's serviceable. There are also a few bullet line buffs, especially in her Last Word, like in Yin ATK, CRIT ATK and Agility as well as debuffs like Evasion, Agility, Yin DEF and CRIT DEF.

I think what's probably the most interesting thing about W3 Parsee though are her anomalies. It actually doesn't feel as formulaic as some recent units, but I like it regardless. Not only does she not suffer from the effects of Burn or Freeze, but she also inflicts them on her enemies. For Freeze, we have Skill 2 and Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK, both 3 layers each, anomaly broken via Solo Spread Shot (3P), AoE SC1 (2P) and AoE LW (3P). As for Burn, we have Skill 3 and LW Pre-ATK, also both 3 Layers each. All in all, I like how you can go about whichever anomaly you want to inflict and break when it comes to specific enemies, like if an enemy is susceptible to Burn anomalies, you can focus on that with SC2 (albeit no Burn inflict, would be insane for UFES though maybe), but with Freeze especially, to be able to inflict and break 6 Freeze anomalies in 1 turn off the jump (as long as Skill 3's Burn anomalies don't get in the way of that) is pretty awesome imo.


I think weaknesses would have to include the somewhat lacking offensive damage (because of means like no ability effect with effective damage up or such), as well as how her anomaly inflictions ultimately have their downsides when they can potentially clash with each other. While there are very good moments with it, you have to be way more careful than usual when it comes to managing these anomalies. Another unit to use as a comparison for this issue would be F1 Sanae whose anomaly inflictions also clash with each other (Poison on Skill, Paralyze on AoE Spell Card), but yeah, I do think it's possible to be able to work around it. Maybe an enemy doesn't get inflicted by one of these anomalies and you can focus on the other, but it's still a little awkward I'd say.


I think overall, I think W3 Parsee is still a cool unit. I don't know if she is up there because lacking damage has its downsides, but I do still think she has a cool kit regardless. Compared to Z3 Satori, the last UFES, I think W3 Parsee doesn't quite match her, but I'd still say as a UFES unit, I'm satisfied with her personally!
