Touhou Puppet Dance Performance: Shard of Dreams -Extended- V3 - Vs. OVERLORD BARUDO
27Latest version of the Shard of Dreams Extended mod came out 3 days ago, incredibly fun, not only does it expand on the puppets (up to Touhou 18 now!), as well as new items, abilities and moves, but also a whole lot other places exist within the game now, for a revitalized offline play experience!
This here is the fight against the in-game version of Barudo, the lead developer behind this amazing mod. To get to him, you need to have beaten all of The 10 ??? scattered across Gensokyo. (Essentially the other dev members behind this mod.) Good luck getting to him in the first place though, as you have to traverse the extremely long Ruins of Vina, with an incredibly brutal ice puzzle at the end that I figured out faster than I should have. And if you don't have all 10 Emblems from the dev trainers, you get turned back at the end so you have to do everything AGAIN. (And also make sure to not get your ass kicked by Sariel after the ice puzzle. Please save there.)
Anyway, Barudo's fight is an incredibly brutal fight, with FIVE boss-exclusive puppets with crazy moves and stats, none of this you see anywhere else. I had already beaten him yesterday, but I didn't record that, so I recorded a refight against him, as that's something you can do.
No, I'm not doing this fight without healing items and Max Revives because I'm almost sure it's 99% impossible. At least I did it without hacking Boundary Trances into the game. (Barudo says before his actual first fight "I don't play fair.", and one of the dev trainers calls him a "cheating bastard", so you can fight fire with fire, if you want. I decided not to.)
I'm also pretty sure I was the first person out there to beat him, except for the mod devs/testers. Feels good.
