Since Youkai Mountain is considered as a cave and you can't fly off it, the only way down is back the way you came, and that means rebattling the two faries that guard the entrence to Moriya Shrine, then surf across Misty Lake back to the Scarlet Devil Mansion to shove six tomes in Patchi's face.

The good news is that either by glitch or design, the guardians of Suwa Lake respawn after completing Makai, which means that it is actually possible to catch both a LSuwako and LKanako, but since I already recorded these seperately, I'm not going to show that again.
