Climate crisis protesters blocked the road during the last 36km of the 10th stage of the Tour de France.

Commentators on Australian TV network SBS were initially confused as to why officials were telling the stage leader Alberto Bettiol to stop riding. Up ahead, police and senior officials were seen dragging climate crisis protesters into a ditch. The stage breakaway and peloton were both halted for around 10 minutes until the road was cleared
