Although the start of the third stage is located at the “entry point” of the Dolenjska region, the route will lead the riders towards the Notranjska region and the Karst landscape. First, they will skirt the slopes of the Ljubljana Marshes and then head towards Cerknica, site of the largest intermittent lake in Slovenia and, according to legend, the home of Uršula the Witch.
