I decided to push my Starship Engineering up to Rank IV, allowing me to use the Razorleaf as the basis for a "Star Turkey" style build.

The goals of the build were:
- Has maximum mobility, speed
- Has enough jump range to get to the far stars
- Armed with excellent Particle Beam weapons
- Keep the Razorleaf name for fun conversations
- Good visibility from the pilot's throne
- Have no interior ladders to climb (Bay and Docker do not count)
- Have all workbenches present
- Have a wide variety of Hab modules
- At least some sensibility to the Hab layout and traffic flow

This specific build uses advanced parts. At lower levels, you can execute a very similar build, just substitute what parts you can use. Lower level parts might not get you to 100 mobility or 28LY jump range, and you may need to execute your build with fewer Hab modules or drop other things.

Dropping the Hab Spines (which are heavy) will allow the ship builder to start placing ladders, and will no longer force certain doors, but if you need to do this to reduce mass ... well, that's your decision ;)

If this build gives you trouble in the Engine department, consider holding off until you get the Star Eagle (do the Freestar Ranger quest line), which has these four engines and a nice reactor you can use.
