Time is getting low for making your team. This is an intricate and complex rule set for a tournament and thus making a team is not so quick or easy, especially a LEGAL one.
Make SURE you have everything in order, and it takes time to create too. There is a LOT to factor in and think about, with numerous different approaches.
I recommend one or two test matches before going into the official games. If both players agree to count their match as official, you can start whenever. Otherwise, expect people to be match hunting by Thursday. PLEASE do your best to finish at least ONE match during the course of the weekend. You have FOUR opponents to match up with, surely one of them is around.
The forums are a tool. Use them. The xat is a tool. Use it.
AFTER YOUR FIRST MATCH: Post on the forums in the thread with your group paring. Post the outcome of the match, the two main types you chose, your teams total tier points, and the outcome of the match. At this point, you commit to that team and can swap items only. You can still re-arrange your lead off, but the 6 pokes gotta stay.
