Just some brief info update about your groups and matches and what we're going to proceed to do this week.

DEPENDING ON HOW MANY PEOPLE BECOME ACTIVE: If people show up and play matches, fine, no changes. Top 2 advance, etc. So keep playing.

If the continued lack of people showing up continues (err, wut?) then I will have several options.

I can either cut immediately to a 128 man bracket if we have 128 active players.

I could cut directly to a 64 man bracket, taking the winner of each bracket and fill the holes with tie-breakers.

I could create new groupings with ONLY active players in it, and then have those groups spill out into a 64 or 128 man bracket, just cutting out everyone who hasn't shown up. Players like http://www.youtube.com/PhazeVideos and http://www.youtube.com/kingxeider who are just WRECKING people up would NOT have to go through a second group stage. Players who are in a clear top 1 or 2 slots in a group with full activity would not need to qualify AGAIN.

I expect to make these cuts on Thursday and swap everything around. So if you've lost a ton, you can get a 2nd chance. If you haven't palyed your matches, you have this week.

Some groups are done completely, some groups haven't started. 90% of matches should be done by Thursday/Friday and if that is the case, I won't make these drastic cuts and we'll just proceed according to original plan.

Which means: This tournament is done in 1-2 weeks. Nothing is going to get in your way unless your brother restarts your game and you see only a lvl 10 piplup, or your mom gets a new router and your DS can't connect. I'm aware some of you have started school, but everyone is fully aware that you will still be at your computer every day and still play video games during the school year like you always have. It doesn't end your life, you can be responsible enough to understand what it takes to succeed and finish your extra curricular commitments.
