Tower - 3D puzzle game freeware by Sam Hockaday Test Magicolo 2013
Created for The Game Creator's Puzzle Game Competition.
The purpose of this game is to build a tower as high as you can. In
the spirit of tetris, you must complete full rows (rings, stacks) in order to
move up the tower. Your buildable area is marked by wooden scaffolding on the
tower base. As you complete stacks, the camera and scaffolding will rise, giving
you more space to build.
Points are scored for every brick that you place, and for every stack
completed. Completing multiple stacks at the same time multiplies your earned
points. Also, rare gold bricks will appear; completing a stack with a gold brick
will give you a huge score bonus!
Although it is possible to make a stack "unfixable" by accidentally
covering a gap, this is not neccesarily a problem. If you complete a stack above
this "flawed" stack, you will rise above it and continue on. (You will receive a
one-time score penalty for every unfixable ring you cover.)
The game ends only when a piece lands at all above the wooden guides. When
this happens, the game will halt, and you may enter your name if you have a high
score.
