Tower of Guns is from the same devs as Mothergunship and the precessor of it. This kinda shows, since the game isn't as polished as Mothergunship. BUT it's still a good game and is played in a different setting.
But the premise is similar, you go from room to room, dodge 3D Sized Mario Bullet Bills and Cannonballs and try to destroy the cannons and drones that shoot you.
You can't build your own weapons here, but you have a level up system for each gun. So destroyed enemies drop orbs, that fills a progress bar until it reaches the max and thats where your gun levels up. But if you get hit, you lose that xp and your gun can lose levels like this. So not getting hit is good since it keeps you alive, but also keeps your firepower high.
The game is easy to pick up and hard to master. It's always refreshing when a game starts when you hit start and not show you a convoluted story or a long tutorial (a short one is fine though).
