WonderBoy - the Dragons Trap i love this game. Seriously, when i first played it on the Sega Master System i was instantly hooked. It works like the NES Zelda 2, but instead of a overworld, you got a connected sidescrolling world, with many hidden doors and pathways that only open with a new ability.
So this is a remake of the game in a handdrawn style and modern music. But they did stick to the original style, this is one of the games where i can say, this is how i imagined the world or the game, even if it was shown in a 8-Bit pixel style.
The story greets you already thrown into the action. You make your way through a mazelike castle, to defeat the evil mecha dragon. since you're already powered up from your last adventure, this is a breeze for your. But the defeated dragon leaves you with a curse, that transforms you into a walking, fire spitting, big lizard. You lose your equipment and most of your health through this.
So now you make your way to lift that curse.
