Beaten on 3rd April 2024 at 4:02.45 am. The funny thing about this game is while Lap 3 is impossible, even after a save/load to make the stats lower on the boss to avoid the glitch, it is possible to still win Lap 3 and infinitely loop the game by using the bomb item to take out the final boss on floor 50.

I am using a patch to the original game called tswKai found at: github.com/Z-H-Sun/tswKai/releases/tag/v3.1

This patch contains quality of life features to prevent the game running too slowly, to have continuous non-restarting BGM (music) and to have remastered soundtracks that keep the feel of the original midi but with a new and improved ogg flavour. I also used the patch to have the ability to speed up the game to a faster speed, and generally made the game a lot more enjoyable to play. The base game is unplayable for me.

The tswKai3 launcher does allow bug fixes to be applied to the game at startup, but I did uncheck them all as I did not want any of them applied when wanting to beat the original game.

Despite stating 50層 (50 floors) the game actually has 51層 (51 floors), just the 51st floor is floor 0 which means it doesn't really count as the main 50. Floor 0 contains the lucky coin which doubles gold obtained from every enemy defeated.

The reason this video showcases 3 laps is to show it is possible to beat the game on the third lap, but anything past 3rd lap is just a repeat of the 3rd lap, so the game never truly ends which is why the video stops here. The True End of the game is meant to be Lap 2 anyway, as indicated by the impossible Lap 3 boss that's only possible if using a bomb.

I have found out it is theoretically possible to get All Items by the Final Boss on Lap 3 if the player were to keep the bomb into Lap 3, since items are not removed on Lap 3 (unless the player walks into the Floor 3 trigger instead of using the teleport wand to skip the floor) - this would mean playing Lap 1 as normal with a high health pool as shown in the video, and then beating Lap 2 without using the bomb item on the red guards - which means not getting the sacred shield that disables the half hp damage magicians early. This is problematic since with a really low HP amount, it might not be possible to beat the final boss which has to be slain in Lap 2. If a player were to accomplish this though and still beat Lap 2, then Lap 3 would allow having All Items by Final Boss.
