Tower of Transcendence Walkthrough & Collectibles (Part 25) - DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake
300:00 This part covers the Tower of Transcendence and sailing to Mur. We'll be looting some points of interest along the way. I highly recommend using your seeds now for survivability if you are having trouble surviving based on your party. You can find Metal Slimes here. Defeat one for an achievement.
Zoom to Alltrades Abbey.
From there, head North to find the Tower of Transcendence.
Follow the path North until you reach the middle portal.
00:36 Head North of the portal to find 2 pots with Seed of Defence and Seed of Magic.
00:53 Head South of the portal to find a chest with Sparring Suit.
01:05 Take the Southwest stairs up to recruit Alutac.
01:24 Take the next stairs up to find a chest with Dieamend.
Head all the way back down and this time take the Northwest stairs up.
Cross the tightrope East. Go in a straight line to avoid falling.
02:00 There's a pot on the other side containing Strong Medicine.
Head down the nearby stairs. Take the blue portal.
You should now see 3 stairs in front of you. Take the Southern stairs up.
02:19 You'll find a chest with Mini Medal 36.
Go back down to the 3 stairs. Take the Northern stairs up twice.
02:37 You'll find a chest with a Silver Tiara.
Go back down to the 3 stairs.
Take the middle stairs up, then the South stairs up.
02:54 You'll find a chest containing 448 Coins.
Go up the nearby stairs twice.
You'll reach another tightrope area. Cross West. Don't fall.
03:24 After crossing, take the stairs down to find a chest with a Battle Fork.
03:40 Head back to the previous room and take the stairs up to find another chest containing Hermes' Hat.
04:00 Head back to the tightrope. Jump off intentionally on the LEFT side of the red banner. Land beside a pot with a Seed of Stamina.
04:16. Jump off the ledge to your right. Go down the nearby stairs and check the stairs to your right to find the last chest containing Words of Wisdom. This lets you change into Sage even without a Gadabout. Use it wisely.
ZOOM back to the tower to summon your ship nearby.
05:06 POI 1 - Training Togs, 641 Coins & Tough Guy Tattoo.
Sail East along the river. You'll find a POI and Secret Spot on your left.
05:26 POI 2 - Wayfarer's Clothes, 122 Coins & Silver Tiara
05:36 Secret Spot - Magic Water, Snooze Stick & Banishing Bell
As you exit the "mouth" of the river. You'll see the next POI on your right.
06:23 POI 3 - 3x Tanglewebs, 2x Antidotal Herbs & 2x Seeds of Wisdom
06:37 POI 4 (Northeast of POI 3) - 4x Magic Water, 2x Holy Water & Magic Shield
06:49 Secret Spot (North of POI 4) - Beastly Bullwhip
07:28 POI 5 (East of Secret Spot) - Fur Vest & Sledgehammer
07:41 Secret Spot (Northeast of POI 5) - Recruit Mercurio & Wizard's Robe
08:38 POI 6-8 (North of Secret Spot) - Dragon Shield, Dragontail Whip, Dragon Scale & Leg Warmers (I missed this in the video captions). The Dragon Shield and Dragontail Whip are extremely useful for a future Dragon-race boss that utilizes breath attacks.
Time to sail to Mur. Skip to 09:40 if you just quickly want to see where it is on the map. Otherwise, Sail South from POI 6-8 to find it.
