Blank Media Games, developers of Town of Salem, have begun deleting old accounts that were grandfathered in to the free-to-play version. Blank Media Games' reason is that it's to free up space. However, user accounts take up very little space, and a simple purge of old threads would've sufficed. The excuse of "making it faster to send mass emails" is questionable at best - don't users from old accounts need to know important news or about data breaches, too...?
