141Did you know the narcissist, abusive, or toxic parent you have could be perceived as "normal" if they don't fit clinical criteria or symptoms of the label you feel fits them?
The world is frought with adult children who engage in obsessive labeling to bring meaning to their issues with their parents.
But the sad part is that the parent's toxic behavior may not rise to the so-called clinical level of pathology, leaving these parents untreated and free to deceive others.
A parent who is:
Jealous,
cold,
callous,
evil,
mean,
manipulative, etc. may not be given that clinical label but you still recognize there is something terribly wrong.
