Müze Konusu Ve İçeriği İle İlgili Kısa Bilgi
Şehrin aynası olmayı amaçlayan Trabzon Şehir Müzesi, Trabzon’un kültürel mirasını hem gelecek nesillere aktarmakta hem de şehri ziyarete gelen yerli ve yabancı turistlere tanıtmaktadır. Müzede Trabzon’un dönemsel kronolojisi, halkın sosyal yaşamı, gelenek ve göreneklerin kültürümüze etkileri, siyasi ve yönetim tarihi, yayla kültürü, mutfak kültürü, sağlık tarihi, eğitim tarihi, spor tarihi ve ekonomik hayatı; kısaca Trabzon’un tüm yüzleri anlatılmaktadır. Müzede, klasik müze sergileme tekniklerinin dışında, interaktif ve dijital sergileme teknikleri de kullanılmıştır. Canlandırmalar, dijital yayınlar, kiosklar, panolar, özel habitatlar, müze ziyaretini aktif ve eğlenceli hale getirmektedir.
Müze Binası Hakkında Kısa Bilgi
Günümüzde Trabzon Şehir Müzesi olarak kullanılan yapı, 1963 yılında Merkez Bankası binası olarak yapılmıştır. Bina, daha sonra Tevfik Serdar Kültür Merkezi olarak hizmet vermiştir. 2012 yılında Trabzon Şehir Müzesi olmasına karar verilmiş ve 24 Şubat 2017 tarihinde Trabzon Şehir Müzesi olarak hizmet vermeye başlamıştır. Brief Information About The Subject And Content Of The Museum
Aiming to be the mirror of the city, Trabzon City Museum both transfers the cultural heritage of Trabzon to future generations and introduces it to local and foreign tourists who come to visit the city. In the museum, Trabzon's periodical chronology, the social life of the people, the effects of traditions and customs on our culture, political and administrative history, highland culture, cuisine culture, health history, history of education, history of sports and economic life; Briefly, all the faces of Trabzon are described. In addition to the classical museum exhibition techniques, interactive and digital exhibition techniques were also used in the museum. Animations, digital broadcasts, kiosks, billboards, special habitats make visiting the museum active and enjoyable.
Brief Information About the Museum Building
The building, which is used as the Trabzon City Museum today, was built in 1963 as the Central Bank building. The building later served as the Tevfik Serdar Cultural Center. It was decided to become Trabzon City Museum in 2012 and started to serve as Trabzon City Museum on February 24, 2017. (karadeniz.gov.tr)
