On June 25, 2024, the Consumer Products Safety Commission announced MGA Entertainment's voluntary recall of virtually the entire Miniverse Make It Mini product line. The recall affects all sets with unused liquid resins due to risk of skin, eye and respiratory irritation and sensitization; and violation of the Federal Hazardous Substances Act.
