Time for the final Aion fight of the game! Now this fight is hard.

Strategy: Type-α is fast and has very powerful Crafts that are able to KO within two or three hits if you don't tread carefully. Among it's strongest is Helheim Cannon, able to do well over 34000 damage and will always inflict Burn. It will usually start out with this attack, but the best way to counter this for future uses is either using the Defend command or switching your partner to Altina to use Ebon Barrier to reflect a portion of damage as well as inflicting Burn on itself, which doesn't seem like a lot of damage but will add up. Do everything you can to keep you CP up to least 60 for Crescent Flash for the high unbalance rate alongside the DEF and ADF debuff. If you, use arts from your partners to debuff the large machine. Lustrous Slash can also be used to Impede the oncoming Crafts from it. During phase 2, Valimar does far less damage for story reasons, so you need to be extremely careful by routinely swapping between arts, physical attacks and healing when necessary. Type-α also gains two new Crafts, Dunamis Fire which is it's weakest Craft and it's S-Craft, Sky Ender Elsenon. If you don't have the EP for Ebon Barrier, the next best thing is using either Lustrous Slash to cancel it out or using Helix to inflict Seal on it so it can't use it. Now, time for phase 3. Do absolutely everything you can to keep your CP up to at least 90. If you can keep it to 200, that's perfect. Do NOT use Enlightened Domination during this portion. Instead, focus on striking weak points and using Crescent Flash for the high unbalance rate to build up your BP. The entire reason for this is because once it reaches it's last 25% HP, it'll use it's most dangerous S-Craft (that I can't remember the name of at the moment). It is impossible to Impede this Craft and results in an immediate game over due it also inflicting Vanish. As such, before it gets to that 25%, focus all your attention on inflicting as much damage as you can with Crafts and Arts. The best Craft for this is Helix as it does a large amount damager to the Break Gauge, focus on getting that meter down as far as you can before it starts casting it. Now you're allowed to use Enlightened Domination for large damage rolls and fully depleting the break gauge. Then, just keep wailing away on the giant machine while it's unable to move and you're free to use your next S-Craft to finish the Aion off a glorious fashion.
