Train Engineers - How to build railway #2
Space Engineers - short tutorial how to build rails. In the video you can see my 6th generation which is more simple than the 5th generation (half quantity of grids and half quantity of blocks) but still has smooth ride
basic description:
- every part is static grid
- no energy in railway, except of stations
- final hinge setting: OFF, breaking torque 0Nm, Lock on, Velocity 0
- every part of rails is 6 blocks long (5th generation 3 blocks)
- my turns use angles 1,2,3 and 4° for every part
- descent and ascent has optimal 0.5° for every part
- rotation rails (clockwise and counterclockwise) use 1° and 0.5° for every part. 1°is for slower trains
- recommended max degree descent and ascent is 15° of railway
- recommended max degree rotation is 15° of railway before the turn - If turn has 90°, then there will be descent of 15°
My workshop don't work -_- so I can't share it
