Train Heading West - Rain on the Mountains, saxified
I didn't have the patience to create a 10 hour relaxing mountain rain music video, so I distilled it in a 2 minute cover of Timothy Broege's "Rain on the Mountains" from "Train Heading West".
This piece means a LOT to me because it was one that I played in concert band years back. I don't remember which year, but since this is a Grade 1 concert piece, it would have been very early in my music career. I am still astounded by how such a technically simple [again, designed for early musicians] piece can be so beautiful.
Do you feel the rain? Settle down in your seat and evoke the sense of the hours-long train ride...but only for just 2 minutes. #relaxingsounds
