Growing up in Bible Belt Oklahoma as a Mormon was weird, since all the protestants made sure to emphasize the differences in theology. But I think there is something to the Mormon idea of humans being "Gods in Embryo," and simulation games like SimCity 2000 (but also, the plethora of god-games such as Populous, ActRaiser, etc.,) speaks to a common human pulse.

This cover was also inspired by online conversations about the story of Job, as well as the Old Testament flood narrative. What statements do these kinds of stories say about God? Do they better describe the impassable God of traditional Christianity or perhaps a more human conception of God as espoused by certain LDS prophets?

🎵 Song: Melancholic Mayor (10013.mid), The Sim Magic (10003.mid), and 10018.mid
🎮 Game: SimCity 2000
