Pre-order gives me something extra to do over the weekend..
Just checking the record in TSW3 using Nvidia default recorder overlay.. so there is a bit of a hit there as well.. anyways.. although this is at 2160p.. the recording program only saves 1080p. least for me.. MSI FPS included upper left side.. and a showing of res settings to prove it is 2160p.. anyways..

8700K CPU and 1070 GPU, 32g ram.. Game installed on Solid State Drive.. for an old system it works just fine.. very playable..

I actually just bought TSW3 Deluxe version, for the Spirit of Steam and the rest is a winning bonus for "me".. works out $13.50 USD per route.. good performance.. what's not to like? I only have like 50 hours in TSW1 and 5 hrs in TSW2... I am more of a Train Simulator Classic fan.. till the ROUTE library grows in TSW Series in many many years to come... I am sure there are issues someplace, and for some people.. it happens.. anyways..

So it can dip in the 20-30FPS in startup scenes.. but while playing, the 1080p or 2160p average 40+ into the 60's FPS and feel pretty dang smooth at High settings with motion blur off.. I hate motion blur in any game..

for an old 1070GPU, I don't know what else to ask for in performance really... good out of the launch gate.. I always have background stuff turned off and do a 360 spin when first getting into a route.. cache thing I think..

I gave up during the lock downs on updating Scalper priced PC GPU cards... between the scalpers and mining.. it is just not worth the price for a GPU anymore.. so I bought a Whole XBOX Series X system for $500 and does 120FPS or 4K just fine and throws in a BluRay player which plays 4KUHD discs fine.. PC is going to become a secondary machine in another generation of the consoles... Ultimate Gamepass is hard to beat... anyways..

A funny thing using the Nvidia recorder... it picks out the name in memory for the game running I guess.. and creates a folder to dump the recording into... TSW3 is grabbed as: "Ts2prototype" lol.. with that said.. TSC still defaults to "Railworks".. lol

oh, ignore that I blew the stop at the end... I was just testin and messin.. yeah..pffft..
