The fourth Train Simulator Classic request video. For this one we have a Class 37 taking 17 mixed freight hoppers London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour, a journey of just over 75 miles. The was requested by JimJimPlays. The particular start and finish points were chosen to show the entire length or the route but if such a freight train was running on the Portsmouth main line, it would be running between the two main freight depots at Woking and Fratton. The original request was for a Class 46 loco however that loco is not in this game and the near identical Class 45 is not a loco I have. Not only that but the Class 46 loco never operated on the Portsmouth main line and some searching on the internet by myself and Jim quickly lead to the discovery that it was the Class 37 he was remembering, not the Class 46. If I had the Class 46 loco in the game, I would have done it. Just because a chosen loco did not operate on a chosen route does not mean I would not do a vid of that request. I'd do a video of a Class 373 Eurostar on the Shoeburyness to Fenchurch Street line if those loco and route DLC were available.
