A training programme initiated in Jammu and Kashmir for fruit growers to improve output and quality of the produce. To improve output and the quality of the fruit production authorities in Jammu and Kashmir initiated a pruning training programme for fruit growers on Saturday. A large number of growers participated in the awareness camp.This training programme would also help growers to keep up-to-date with the demand in the international market of their products. Horticulture experts said that the traditional pruning method and lack of knowledge regarding proper pruning and chopping had affected the fruit production over the years.
