Transformers Armada PS2 Completed in 0 Jumps (L1 Challenge)
18The L1 Challenge is the equivalent to Super Mario 64's A Button Challenge for Atari Melbourne House's Transformers. In other words, completing the game without jumping. This run is the result of years of hard work from the community to come up with strategies for each and every part of this run. I could not have done it without them.
Particular shoutouts to @ReadySteadyYeti for a significant portion of the tricks used in the run. I'm proud to be the first to complete your challenge.

Notes:
*This run was played on PCSX2, an emulator, in order to unmap the L1 button from my controller and to have access to an input display, as per the rules of this challenge. Any L1 presses you see on the controller did NOT go through to the game, and were merely used to prove to the chat that I was, indeed, incapable of jumping.
*The hop that your Autobot of choice performs when you push the Transform button is NOT considered a jump, and is used liberally throughout the run as a result. If it were, the run would end at the very beginning of Amazon.
*The backtracking split is present in case I had left any Mini-Cons behind throughout the run. Seeing as I manged to have 30 Mini-Cons by the end of Pacific Island anyway, this split is skipped.
*There were several issues with my internet throughout the run. Commentary comes in and out as a result. The actual run you're seeing here was my local recording, which did not stop for my bad internet.
*The only edits made to this video were to speed up the introduction (there was a lot of filler) and a brief blurring of some Google search results for privacy reasons. The actual run is presented in full from start to finish from a "continue save" file (ie. the game was started, but ended immediately, which is allowed for speedruns).
*I hate playing on emulator with a passion and am looking forward to never improving this time LMAO
