I've seen people do this section both of these ways, and it looks like the time lost by jumping at the top of the ramp is more than made up for by being able to maintain the supercharge after performing stoneknot.

Also while testing this I was consistently getting double stoneknot to be about 2 seconds slower, which I've suspected may be the case for a while, but was disappointing to confirm.
