Trench Gun Weapons Test [Frontline Commando: D-Day]
This one's a bit different, being a video of a crappy Glu Games mobile cover shooter that's been long delisted but which I was playing through again for old times' sake. Anyway, through the Utah, Sword, and Gold campaigns, the game lets you test drive extremely powerful weapons that are otherwise only obtained by rolling a gacha with extremely low odds or paying a boatload of premium currency, probably to entice you into opening your wallet and blowing your money on the game.
Most of these are bizarre Wolfenstein reboot-tier sci-fi guns, but this one in particular is the Winchester 1897 Trench Gun. Its depiction in the game is comically extreme - it's got atrocious spread, on par with Doom 3's shotgun, but is so absurdly powerful anyway, both visually and mechanically. Just look at it; you catch a German in your sights and all the blood in his body is ejected out at once! With a playlist of videos depicting shotguns in video games, I figured it would only be fair that this game was immortalized for its depiction of the Winchester 1897 Trench Gun. John Browning would be proud.
(Also apologies for repeatedly pausing the video. I was making sure I was within the two minute time limit, since you lose the ability to use the test weapon after you beat the level once.)
