Trepang2 Review | Modern and Nostalgic
12Trepang2 is a fast-paced FPS developed by Trepang Studios, where you play as the mysterious Subject 106 that's freed from captivity and set on a warpath against your previous captors: the Horizon Corporation. It's a game that feels reminiscent of the shooters that I grew up playing, like Modern Warfare 2 and F.E.A.R 2, that scratch the same itch of being a single person taking out enemies against all odds. It's a game that feels very modern in its execution but also delivers on the first-person action and setting in a way that reminds me of the FPS games I played growing up. There is even a cheats menu with goofy options like Big Head mode that take me right back to the PlayStation 2. Overall I think Trepang2 is a stellar game that deserves more attention, especially if you're a fan of first-person shooters.
