Triangle Strategy's the next release from the studio that produced Octopath Traveler, and switches up the genre to a turn-based tactical style in the vein of Final Fantasy Tactics. I have very fond memories of Tactics Advance (it was the game that introduced me to the Final Fantasy series), and I'm really looking forward to digging into this one. For the curious - this is my first, blind playthrough of the game, fixed to Hard difficulty, with no retreats or reruns of the practice maps.

After ousting Aesfrost from the mines, Roland, Benedict, and Frederica ended up having a severe difference of ideals about how to proceed. In the end, the scales tipped in Frederica's favor, and we marched to liberate the Roselle from Hyzante... but Benedict refused to follow us on the path we chose. It's not going to be an easy road - while we've stormed the Ministry of Research and brought down Lyla, convincing the Roselle to rebel is another matter entirely.
