Trigon: A Space Story Demo Gameplay

I wanted to check out a game that is still in development. I usually never do it but this game did look quite interesting and I wanted to see how it was as I would like to support smaller game developers a bit more actively.
This game reminds me of a more visually pleasing and broader FTL gameplay wise.
I'm curious to see how it will develop in the future.
In this demo we explore how the game works, travel around part of the star system and fight enemy ships while doing several smaller quests. I didn't explore it fully as we only saw a space station once, other than that I think we got a reasonably good view of the first area of this starmap. I am sure there are many areas to explore in the full game when it releases.
Some negatives:
- The demo is a bit short (which could be a good thing as I wanted more!)
- There is no real tutorial
- You cannot modify the characters (at least as far as I have seen)
- The enemies seem very strong in melee when they board the ship, to the point your crew sometimes cannot even 3v1 them
- No Oxygen damage is very high. Could be a bit cheesy, but focussing the O2 and then other stations seems to be the easiest way to defeat tough ships.
Keep in mind however, that I don't know how updated/outdated the Demo is. They could have developed this further along after publishing a demo and not really updating the demo itself.
On a positive note:
- The gameplay is very engaging and fun
- It is visually very pretty
- There are interesting sidequest with different results that encourages exploring the system and send you from one place of the galaxy to another
- There seem to be a lot of fun future options
